If your New Years resolution was any of the above then you’re in luck with our post today!

We are inspired by the green, leafy ones & we want to offer you ways to dress up these gifts of nature & bring more green into your everyday and your home! Plants not only beautify and balance your indoor styling, they also cleanse the air around us.

There are so many cool pots around you are sure to find something that tickles your fancy. Our fave pick is concrete pots with a splash of metallic.

Plants don’t have to stay grounded…to bring a touch of Bohemia to your abode, we are loving hanging macramé plant holders too.

And, of course the vertical garden…what can we say, we are seriously crushing over live green wall art! Consider a lush herb garden for the kitchen or a beautiful bathroom feature to add a touch of rainforest to your daily rituals.

Let wonderful plants drip out of hanging wicker baskets, spill over side tables, liven up empty corners and soften walls.

Choosing your plants:
For rooms with less light, choose plants that love the shade, these tend to have large dark green leaves that photosynthesise better than others. For example: Zanzibar Gems, Chinese Lucky Plants, Kentia Palms, Cast Iron Plants, Lady Palms, Happy Plants and Peace Lilies.

In rooms with lots of light choose plants with coloured or patterned leaves, including tropical plants, which usually grow in dappled sun conditions. For example: Bromeliads, Prayer Plants, Dumb Canes and Zebra plants.
